TWW MAY TRIBE MEETING

 An Open Letter to Our Esteemed Readers

Dear TWW Tribe,

We do not mince words when we say you are the reason we have come this far. What a journey it has been, and we are grateful you have been here with us. If you have read our About Us page, you would truly agree that we have come a long way from where we started. What started as a young man’s idea to just build a platform for himself has now become a gathering place for champions that are already emerging.

Talk with Willy, now fondly called TWW, had our best month yet in the month of May. It’s only been our first full month, but we are beside ourselves with excitement for the achievements we recorded this month, and we are already getting dizzy expecting what would happen in June and the rest of 2022.

In this letter, I would list a number of achievements we have made within a month, thanks to the efforts of the entire tribe:

1. 7,500 Views

Barring any funny happening, we would hit 7,500 total page views, in just seven weeks since we started. This is a witness to the fact that we do our best in bringing you top content and that you appreciate it.

2. Team Growth and Increase

Our team is now six people strong! What started with one man eventually became three people, and now we have added another three. You’ve met Willy, Lillie, and Ajibola. Very soon, you’ll meet Gift, Giselle, and Penny. Get ready for more amazing content in the coming months.

3. More Writers, More Content

You now enjoy Lillie’s Social Spot on Saturdays, and on Wednesday, Ajibola brings you Fin Talk. Expect more content from other writers for our increasing audience this June.

4. Publicity Team

We have been able to organically coordinate a group of excellent volunteers who share our content with their contacts.

We cannot express how helpful this has been to us, and how it has boosted our reach. We are super grateful to these amazing individuals

5. We’re Now on Instagram!

Special thanks to Lillie, our top social media manager, our Instagram profile is up and running. We’ve been slow and steady so far, but trust me, Lillie and the rest of the team is coming for you, our IG family! We are 25 followers strong since the revamp, but we know that with you, we would triple that and get some more next month.

6. We’re On Twitter Too!

Have you followed us yet on Twitter? Well, 37 people have and hopefully, you’ll be one of them soon. Twitter is already serving as our second top referral driver and we seek to use it further in giving updates on community activity, engagement, and of course, it’s where most of our giveaways are done.

7. Influencer Outreach

Our Twitter team has been able to enter agreements with credible influencers in Jos to promote our content. Accounts with thousands of followers now promote our content, expanding our reach.

8. Support Page Launch

The quality of content we create do not come for free. Every post you read costs money and time, and as much as you access our content for free, we have opened the portal for our readers to voluntarily support what we do. We do not essentially need money; we are not asking to be paid. We just have certain items we need to have if we are to give you the very best, for that’s what you deserve.
