Only VIPs come here, and one of them is reading this right now. It takes a lot of effort and resources to do what we do, serve up the kind of content we know you like, and while we do not wish to cause any inconvenience whatsoever to our darling readers, we find ourselves seeking your support.
We started out as, and still are a non profit blog, committed to serving quality content to Nigerian youths, especially those on the Jos plateau. We love what we do, and we're sure our readers love it too. We are however, grateful but dissatisfied with where we presently are. This is because we aim to serve a national audience by December, and a continental audience in the next 18 months, but we lack the means to do so right now.
There are a number of things we would need to step up our game, and the earlier we get them, the faster we can improve the quality of what we serve you. The needed items would be listed below, and we seek your support. We would honestly rather just get the items from you, but if you would prefer to give cash, that would be fine. So, the list:
1. A laptop (Google Pixelbook Go, MacBook Air M1, or Asus VivoBook S15; cost ranging from $510 - $1,000)
2. 3x smartphone (Samsung Galaxy M31 or iPhone 11 Pro; unit cost $250 - $550)
3. 3x Lighting equipment (Canon Tripod LED Ring light; unit cost $45)
4. 2x TB Hard disk drive (unit cost $52)
5. A standard domain and plugins, with hosting rights for 3 years ($500)
6. Advanced training for team members ($1,000)
Total minimum cost is $2,999, while maximum cost is $4,389.
If you are in Nigeria, pegging $1 = ₦510, that would be just under ₦ 1.53 million minimum, and ₦2.25 million maximum
