It’s the last Sunday in the month of June, and we are extremely grateful to God for his faithfulness to us as a clan. We also celebrate a mentor, father, and teacher, Dr Karis AmehWealth, as he celebrated his birthday last Friday. From all of us at Talk with Willy, we say Happy Birthday to you! I also use this medium to let our esteemed audience know that Gloryzone Church started her BAF To Church campaign this week. BAF To Church stands for Bring A Friend/Family To Church. The campaign is aimed at getting people who should be in church but don’t get to church, to church. Weaved into the algorithm of spiritual power is the voice of sacrifice. Without understanding sacrifice, the church would be a powerless church. Sacrifice is the surrender of something for the sake of something else. Walking with power is not a struggle, it is a surrender (John 12: 23 - 26).

You must learn to posture your mind for sacrificial living, that's where power comes from. Nothing comes without sacrifice. The gospel that was spread across the world, including West Africa, came at a cost. People gave their lives and even more were willing to die for the sake of the spread of the gospel. This is not a defense of colonialism and slavery, but a separation of the efforts of the missionaries from that of colonialists and slave dealers, as opposed to the confusion of many ignorant people today who think they are one and the same.

Kingdom power is for dead men. God cannot trust people who are alive to the flesh with His power. God cannot trust a person He cannot control. You should learn to surrender your mouth, knowing when to speak and when to be quiet, learn self-control. God has to be Lord of your will, be it career, marriage, or migration. Don't do things without consulting Him, you might got to New York and get New Yokes!

Two key things you would have to sacrifice are:

1. Sacrifice of your heart and life. This is a total surrender of your control to God.

2. Sacrifice of your hands (1 Kings 17:13). This is the sacrifice of your skills, money and wealth. A man's resources is a measure of his life in a sense. If you want to break out into certain levels, you must look for something dear to you and place it on the altar. Such sacrifice provokes the attention of spirits.
