Our August Highlights
It takes a village to raise a child…
It's been 4 months since we gave birth to our darling baby, with no concrete plan on how we want to raise this child but with the help of our amazing tribe mates who are interested and passionate about what we do here, we have been able to record mindblowing achievements in a little time. One of which is recording over 10,000 views in a row for 2 months but like every project, there are always challenges on the way to its success.
As we start a new month, TWW shares a few things about how August was with us, the challenges faced, achievements and the plans for the new month.
Below are the points we’d like to share with you, tribemates:
1. Blog views
We recorded over 6,000 page views in August, which was far from our expectations compared to our views from the previous month.
We are grateful to everyone who has continually supported us in sharing and engaging our content, we do not take it for granted. Thank you so much for your support, we love you.
2. The Team
In July, we told you about our new expansion making the team over 25 people and the past month has made us come to terms with the fact that with more people comes more leadership responsibility. The team is filled with amazing people but we are still trying to find our foot in terms of structure and consistency from the new members.
3. New Content
We haven't been posting content daily as we promised in July, this is solely because our new writers are in training and have been familiarising themselves with the blog and our style. But September is here with fresh content from our writers ranging from fashion to health and many more, ready and saved in our draft. We really can't wait to share them with you.
4. TWW FPL League
We announced that we would be starting our first FPL season by August and it's well underway. If you are a lover of fantasy football or you know a lover of football, come join the community to have fun and win fantastic prizes. Drop a comment below to get registered.
5. Townhall Meeting
We had our very first townhall meeting online yesterday, where our audience and community members interacted with us and shared their unfiltered views about what we do at TWW.
The meeting was insightful with lots of testimonies and lessons that we will be incorporating going forward.
6. Social Media
Growth on our social media platforms has not been fast as we expected, but we are gradually building our name on LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter, while we are working on giving more attention to our most lacking platform at the moment, Facebook. It's been an insightful month so far for your favourite blog. We are still figuring out how to raise our 4-month-old and we are glad that you, our 'villagers', are helping us to raise her. Thank you once for sticking with us, and for letting us serve you.
